1. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website, submitting a request or accepting a written quotation, you agree to these Terms of Service together with any accepted proposal, statement of work or service agreement. If a written project document conflicts with these website terms, the signed or expressly accepted project document takes priority for that engagement.
2. Assessments and quotations
Website enquiries are requests for assessment and are not automatic acceptance of work. iBugFix may request logs, screenshots, temporary access or additional information before confirming feasibility, scope, price and turnaround.
Any “from” price shown on the website is an indicative minimum only. A binding price exists only when a written quotation is issued and accepted.
3. Customer responsibilities
You must provide accurate information, lawful authority to access the relevant system and suitable cooperation throughout the engagement.
- Maintain a current backup or authorise iBugFix to create an agreed recovery point before risky changes.
- Provide temporary, role-limited credentials where reasonably possible.
- Disclose known restrictions, prior incidents, licensing issues and third-party dependencies.
- Review test results and provide approvals or feedback within agreed timeframes.
4. Payment and commencement
Payment terms are stated in the quotation or service agreement. Deposits, assessment fees or emergency call-out fees may be required before work begins. Late payment may pause work, support, deployment or access to deliverables.
5. Scope changes
A quotation covers only the stated scope and assumptions. New faults, hidden dependencies, unavailable access, corrupted data, third-party failures or requested enhancements may require a revised quote or change approval. iBugFix will not knowingly expand billable work without notifying you.
6. Third-party systems
Hosting platforms, plugins, themes, payment processors, APIs and other third-party services remain subject to their own terms, availability and technical limits. iBugFix is not responsible for outages, policy changes, licence restrictions or defects controlled by those providers.
7. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of materials and systems you lawfully provide. Once all related fees are paid, project-specific deliverables are transferred or licensed as stated in the accepted quotation. Pre-existing tools, reusable components, methods and general know-how remain the property of their original owner.
8. Confidentiality and access
Each party must use reasonable care with confidential information received for the engagement. Credentials should not be sent through the public contact form. Temporary access may be revoked after completion, and you remain responsible for rotating credentials when advised.
9. No unconditional repair guarantee
Software faults can involve damaged data, unsupported code, inaccessible infrastructure or third-party limitations. iBugFix does not promise that every issue is repairable before assessment. Any specific warranty, acceptance period or support window must be stated in the written project terms.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost opportunity or business interruption, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. Suspension and termination
iBugFix may refuse, suspend or terminate work involving unlawful access, abusive conduct, non-payment, unsafe instructions, undisclosed compromise or material breach. You may terminate subject to payment for assessments, reserved emergency time and work already performed.
12. Governing framework
Unless a written agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and disputes are subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
